Tri County RC is an AMA chartered RC club for flying model aircraft. Our members fly all types and varieties of model aircraft ranging in size from tiny backyard flyers to giant scale 40% models.
Our members also fly a full range of power systems including glow, gasoline and electric.
Our AMA Charter Number is 4613. TCRC is located near Hurdle Mills, NC and is an easy commute from Durham, Hillsborough, Roxboro, and the surrounding areas.
The air strip is short grass, well maintained, and suitable for all sized model aircraft. On occasion full size aircraft do use this field but it is rare.
Full size aircraft ALWAYS have priority on the strip.
Individual AMA membership is required of all flyers with the exception of new pilots flying under direct supervision of one of our AMA registered instructors.
