The MARKS club was founded in 1957 to promote the building and flying of radio controlled model aircraft. The club currently has approximately seventy members and maintains an AMA quality flying field on St. Lukes Road just Southeast of Fruitland, MD. In 2013, MARKS has been designated by the AMA, as a Gold Leader Club. This is the fourteenth straight year that the club has received a Leader Club or higher status.
