Located 2.0 miles west of the 215/W. Charleston intersection, the Las Vegas Soaring Club would like to welcome you to come visit us at our field. We fly every Saturday morning (weather permitting) from roughly 8:00 to 11:00 am. PST as a group and members fly other days individually.
Although we are a soaring club, many members fly airplanes and some helicopters. We also have the only winch launch club in Las Vegas for non-powered soaring aircraft.
At this time we are not allowed to operate gas or turbine powered aircraft of any type.. - electric only.
Our field is an AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) certified field and all members are required to have a current AMA card in their possession when at the field.
The carpeted runway is 250' long, 35' wide and has good clearance all around.
