The Gooney Birds Model Airplane Club, located in Florence, S.C., promotes the sport of flying radio controlled model aircraft.
We are chartered by the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA), a national organization that promotes all types of model flying.
Visitors are welcome and our Flight Instructors will help new pilots learn to fly R/C aircraft.
There is no cost to the individual for training and everything needed is supplied by the club.. airplane, radio system, fuel, etc.
