The Gloucester Area Modelers Association (GAMA) is a group of radio controlled aircraft enthusiasts.
Our purpose is to help promote model aviation and share a common bond in the enjoyment of our hobby/sport by our active participation in GAMA and through the exchange of ideas and experiences of our members.
We are a small, but active club that flies everything from one ounce helicopters up to giant scale gas airplanes. Sundays at the field are usually our busiest days, but when the weather is nice you will find us flying on Saturdays or throughout the week.
Learn to Fly or Just Come to Learn!
We currently have two AMA instructor pilots, but there should be on any given Sunday someone there at the field to answer your questions or to have a look at your plane if you are new to the hobby.
Our club is in the process of securing two trainer airplanes, one glow and one electric, and will be providing free flying lessons to anyone wishing to learn to fly.
