Located in Piedmont, South Carolina since 1997, Blue Ridge Radio Control boasts over 50 active members.
When the weather is right, our five flight stations are buzzing with activity, while the pits allow covered conversation for many more pilots.
We have four shelters, each complete with power. Running water allows us to keep our runway green in the dog days of summer, and keeps our dogs cool on occasion as well.
Our members love the 1000 foot grass runway with zero vertical obstructions. Beginners will find it easy to setup both takeoffs and landings, while more experienced pilots enjoy high-speed inverted passes on the deck.
With virtually unlimited airspace, there is plenty of room to fly any model aircraft that you wish.
On a nice Saturday you'll find models ranging from beat up trainers to high powered turbine jets.
We welcome electric, nitro, and gasoline powered Fixed-Wing and Heli's.
